Stability of Siso Systems with Averaged Controllers

چکیده
A necessary and sufficient condition is given for assuring stability of a single-input single-output (SISO) feedback control system when several controls laws are averaged together. Such a situation is encountered when several controllers are designed for different operating conditions which are not mutually exclusive. The special case of using fixed (as opposed to time-varying) weightings for these controllers is considered herein.
